City gas valves: City gas accounts for 22% of the entire natural gas market. There are a large number of valves, and many different types.

  1. City Gas Valves: City gas accounts for 22% of the entire natural gas market. There are a large number of valves with many types.
The main requirements are for ball valves, plug valves, pressure reducing valves, and safety valves.
   2. City Heating Valves: In urban heating systems, a large number of metal-sealed butterfly valves, horizontal balancing valves, and direct buried ball valves are needed. These valves can solve the longitudinal and transverse hydraulic imbalance in pipelines, thus achieving energy saving and thermal balance.
  Purpose.
   3. Valves for Urban Construction: Urban construction systems typically use low-pressure valves, which are currently being developed in an environmentally friendly and energy-saving manner.
Environmentally friendly rubber plate valves, balancing valves, centerline butterfly valves, and metal-sealed butterfly valves are gradually replacing low-pressure iron gate valves.
Domestic urban construction requires valves such as balancing valves, soft-sealed gate valves, and butterfly valves.
   4. Environmental Protection Valves: In domestic environmental protection systems, the water supply system mainly requires centerline butterfly valves, soft-sealed gate valves, ball valves, and exhaust valves (for removing air from pipelines).
The sewage treatment system mainly requires soft-sealed gate valves and butterfly valves.
   5. Long-distance Pipeline Valves: Long-distance pipelines mainly transport crude oil, finished products, and natural gas.
A large number of valves needed for such pipelines include forged steel three-piece full-bore ball valves, sulfur-resistant plate gate valves, safety valves, and check valves.
   6. Valves for Petrochemical Plants:
   a. Refining Equipment: Most valves used in refining equipment are pipeline valves, mainly including gate valves, globe valves, check valves, safety valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, and steam traps, with gate valves accounting for about 80% of the total number of valves.
(Valves account for 3% to 5% of the total investment in the plant.)
   b. Chemical Fiber Equipment: Chemical fiber products mainly include polyester, acrylic, and vinylon.
Ball valves and jacketed valves (jacketed ball valves, jacketed gate valves, jacketed globe valves) are used for valves.
   c. Acrylonitrile Units.
This equipment generally requires API standard production valves, mainly for gate valves, globe valves, check valves, ball valves, steam traps, needle valves, and plug valves, with gate valves accounting for about 75% of the total number of valves.
   d. Ammonia Plants.
Due to different synthesis and purification methods, the technical performance of the required valves also varies.
Currently, domestic ammonia plants mainly require emergency shut-off valves, gate valves, globe valves, check valves, steam traps, butterfly valves, ball valves, diaphragm valves, control valves, needle valves, safety valves, and high-temperature and low-temperature valves.
Among them, globe valves account for 53.4% of the total valve data in the unit, gate valves account for 25.1%, steam traps account for 7.7%, safety valves account for 2.4%, and control valves and low-temperature valves account for the remaining 11.4%.
  e. Ethylene Units: Ethylene units are the main units in the petrochemical industry and require a variety of valves.
Gate valves, globe valves, check valves, and rising stem ball valves make up the majority, with gate valves needing to be prioritized.
In addition, large ethylene and high-pressure polyethylene units require a series of ultra-high temperature, low temperature, and ultra-high pressure valves.
   f. Air Separation Units.
   g. Polypropylene Units: Polypropylene is easily produced using propylene as a raw material to polymerize high molecular compounds. This unit mainly requires gate valves, globe valves, check valves,
needle valves, ball valves, and steam traps.
   7. Power Station Valves: The construction of power stations in China is developing towards large-scale growth. Therefore, large diameter and high-pressure safety valves, pressure reducing valves, globe valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, emergency shut-off valves, flow control valves, and ball sealing instruments are needed.
  Shut-off valves.
   8. Metallurgical Valves: The behavior of alumina in the metallurgical industry mainly requires wear-resistant slurry valves (in flow-type globe valves) and adjustments of steam traps.
Metal-sealed ball valves, butterfly valves, and oxidation ball valves, globe valves, and four-way switching valves are mainly used in the steelmaking industry.
   9. Offshore Platform Valves: With the development of offshore oilfield exploration, the number of valves required for offshore platforms is also increasing.
Offshore platforms require offshore valves, check valves, and multi-way valves.
   10. Valves for Food and Pharmaceuticals: This industry mainly requires stainless steel ball valves, non-toxic all-plastic ball valves, and butterfly valves.
Among the above 10 types of large valve products, the demand for general valves is much higher, such as instrument valves, needle valves, gate valves, globe valves, check valves, ball valves, and butterfly valves.
